Founded in 1809, the year Abraham Lincoln was born, Andover Bookstore in Andover, Massachusetts began on the campus of Philips Academy as the place for students to get textbooks. It’s now located in downtown Andover. Surviving the Civil War and both world wars, the store offers book release parties as well as dress-up parades, date nights, and birthday parties.
